Environment
BMC is proactively committed to environmental responsibility, which we pursue through our environmental strategy and includes:
- Early identification of potential impacts and opportunities
- Development of measures that minimize potential impacts and advance opportunities to provide immediate and long-term benefits
- Detailed environmental baseline survey programs that provide a foundation for subsequent work programs, and ongoing environmental and engineering studies, monitoring, and reviews which focus on environmental performance
- The implementation of our Environmental Management System (EMS) and the Exploration Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to provide support in minimizing the Project’s environmental impact
- Management systems designed to, (i) minimize potential for pollution; (ii) implement efficient use of energy; and (iii) continually monitor and improve processes that reduce waste and conserve natural resources
- We engage and work with Kaska, external academics, specialists, and experts in environmental fields to assist in establishing and implementing best practice methods
